BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEADER (VP In Waiting)
NABS Creative is looking for a Successful, Organized, Energetic, Hungry BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEADER to lift the company to the next level in across all verticals.
The Business Development Leader (VP in Waiting) will take charge of the Sales Process, Lead the current Team, Expand the team as necessary, Improve existing and define new company sales process all while delivering significant personal revenue and increasing overall revenues.
A solid history in, understanding of and demonstrated success selling in the Live Event Production Industry is vital to be considered for this role. Candidates will be expected to impress NABS Leadership with the depth of contacts, leads and revenue generation they quickly bring to the organization.
Responsibilities
In summary the role will be measured by the achievement of
· Retaining & Growing Revenue from Existing Events,
· Significantly increasing New Business Revenue across the Sales Team
· Development of all verticals into self-sustaining business models.
· Building a sustainable Sales Team and process.
· Releasing the CEO to focus on company growth
Key Responsibilities will however include;
1. Management of the Sales Function and Team as a Department Leader.
2. Ultimate Responsibility to ensure all Systems are utilized effectively, kept up to date, provide required management information and tie into the overall NABS Core Delivery Process
3. Interaction with the Operations Team to ensure sales are engineered both for client success and NABS margin.
4. Successful interaction with the Marketing & Creative Team to deliver joint campaigns to support Company development and branding objectives.
5. Management of Key National Accounts to deliver a VIP service to Clients NABS serves as a partner.
6. Key member of the Strategic Leadership Team to ensure the overall Company development is maintained
7. As the Sales Team Leader you will Lead your team, individually and collectively to develop and deliver ambitious revenue targets providing guidance, support and when needed strong leadership.
8. Sales Department Budget Management will be your responsibility.
9. You will work closely with both Marketing and Operations to deliver an effective Trade Show and Event attendance plan to support business development.
10. You will be responsible for Partner management and development to navigate the fine line between supporting and competing to maintain necessary collaborations.
11. Continuous development of the Sales Handover and Operations Support Role to ensure event delivery is as expected by client.
12. Remain current along with your sales Team in all NABS product and service offerings.
Duties
In addition to the responsibilities there is a departmental role to ensure the following are achieved as part of an overall Sales Team Operations Plan
1. Ensure constant organized and effective prospecting is taking place.
2. Ensure that ALL inbound inquiries are engaged with in a timely manner.
3. Ensure that all Quotes, Proposals and agreements are correct, deliverable and profitable for NABS
4. Ensure that all RFQ / Bid sales are managed in a timely and effective manner
5. Develop / Review and manage Sales Team Targets on an ongoing basis to include Data gathered, Leads Generated, Quotes Issued along with Revenue and Margin.
6. Provide Sales Reports for Leadership and for Sales and other business functions.
7. Lead Regular Sales Team workgroups, team sessions, meetings
8. Support Finance team in collecting payment
9. Support Operations Team with project design process
10. Manage Sales Team Commissions
Qualifications
A relevant higher-level qualification is a bonus, the main qualification is a demonstrable history of continued success growing in every previous role. Selling event services is genuinely showing clients that if they chose you they will be better off and then delivering on that promise. Being able to explain how and why success was achieved and how you left every employer in a better position as a result is a strong indication that this role is for you.

1. A True Self-Starter, Self-Manager and Self-Motivator who can operate with autonomy to deliver revenue and margin.
2. Ability to develop a departmental budget, manage to that budget and create forecasts to react to
3. Ability to Visualize, Sales Engineer and Document Event Services Offerings to build a Quote or a Tour Agreement
4. Excellent computer capability and skills. NABS Sells “Event Tech”, it is important that Leaders show capability with systems and computers.
5. Both Team Building and Leadership skills supported by a presence.
6. Excellent and engaging communication skills to deal with Technical, Engineering, Artistic and Business oriented people on a constant basis across a variety of disciplines.
7. Solid understanding of Margin and Contribution budget development.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage, with a team, large numbers of tasks and projects at the same time ensuring timely managed delivery.

Role Requirements
1. Eligible for Work in the USA
2. Open to Background & Reference Check
3. Ability to work in Office environment including sitting for periods.
4. Ability to work on Event sites including walking, standing etc for extended periods.
5. Travel including overnight or multi night stays will be a requirement of this role including weekends and possibly public holidays. By accepting the role you are agreeing to this term.
6. Travel by Car, Public Transport or Train, Flight will be required in this role.
7. Ability to lift 35lbs
8. Accepting of the Event Industry Environment. The Event environment can be noisy, dusty, require site safety rules to be adhered to, can be in the elements in different seasons and climates and may require some level makeshift working environments from time to time.
Employment Details:
· Employment Type: Full Time Employee
· Employment Location: Office Based with option for future Hybrid once team is functioning at a level that is sufficient.
· Working Hours: Normal Working Hours will be expected as will extra days hours as needed to deliver in this position.
· Leave: NABS operates an open leave policy and to date has not had to place a limit on this. The Event Industry requires unusual and long hours often and has periods of High Season Activity where all hands are needed. Self-managed PTO is expected of senior staff members.
· Compensation: This is a primarily a revenue Generating position and will be compensated as such. Each candidate will be asked to provide their proposal to contain a base and performance related elements as part of the interview process.
